GLEITMO 980 by Fuchs Lubritech GmbH is a solvent-based, air-drying solid film lubricant with an inorganic binder. It contains a specially-processed polytetrafluorethylene as an active ingredient with high lubricating and separating effects.
GLEITMO 980 is a fast drying solid film lubricant which gives a thin lubricating film with excellent anti-adhesive properties. It shows excellent adhesive behavior on a wide range of materials.
GLEITMO 980 is used for dry lubrication of a wide variety of material pairings such as metal, plastics, rubber, wood and non-woven materials. It provides a clean lubricating coating, which is especially suitable for goods with high risk of soiling. In the textile and plastic industry, GLEITMO 980 can be used to replace oil and grease lubricants for slatted blinds, roller blinds, and folding/sliding doors.
GLEITMO 980 can be applied as initial lubrication on injection-molded plastic parts, as well as lubrication on squeaking and sticking friction points of wood, plastics and leather. Also, it can be assembly aid for rubber seals.
